Elon Musk is officially the owner of the social network giant Twitter. The deal fell through on Thursday, with Musk immediately firing the company’s CEO and CFO, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Mr. Musk fired Chief Executive Officer Parag Agrawal and Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal after the deal closed, the people said. Twitter spokespeople had no comment. It was not immediately clear who would step into those leading positions. CNBC previously reported the layoffs. Mr. Musk also fired Vijay Gade, Twitter’s top legal and policy leader, and Sean Edgett, its general counsel.
Now, a new story from Business Insider says that Musk and Ghislaine Maxwell, who were sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to trafficking girls for s3x to Jeffrey Epstein, had at least one conversation at an event in 2014.
The photo was taken in 2014 at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in California, but didn’t cause a social media sensation until 2020 when Musk tweeted that he didn’t know Maxwell at all. who chose to remain anonymous because of the potential fallout, said the pair also discussed aliens and Musk floated his theory that reality could be a simulation. A photo of the billionaire alongside Maxwell, a well-known associate of Jeffrey Epstein, was widely shared on Twitter earlier this year after the billionaire initially offered to buy Twitter for $44 billion in April,” BI reported.

Coincidentally, the image resurfaced on Twitter this week, but the social media site attached a new “contextual” note as part of Twitter’s new Birdwatch feature, which aims to curb misinformation on the platform.
“She bombed me once at a Vanity Fair party a few years ago,” he tweeted in July 2020. “The real question is why did VF invite her in the first place.”
A Vanity Fair staffer who was close to Maxwell and Musk at the party said that the two had engaged in some rather strange conversation, with Maxwell asking Musk whether it was possible to remove oneself from the internet, and urging Musk to destroy it.https://t.co/MiDZG2Wbv3

The tweet showing the photo had a note at the bottom that read, “The photo of Musk and Maxwell was taken at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. It’s the only photo of the couple.” There is no photographic evidence to suggest they had a conversation. Musk later responded about the photo and said he didn’t know Maxwell and that she had ‘moved’ him with the photo.”

Interestingly, Musk went viral a few months ago when he fired a warning shot at Epstein’s friends and associates.
