When you hear tales like this one, it’s hard not to ponder whether or not karma exists. There may be a lot of people who don’t believe in karma, but it’s impossible not to.
The theft of gas from another person’s car is a crime that has been committed for as long as there have been gas tanks in vehicles, and the practice is just as bothersome now as it was in the past.
Because of this, individuals will derive a particular sense of joy from the event in issue here, in which a gang of robbers attempted to steal some gas in Australia…
Our narrative starts with some crooks who had the bright notion to try to steal petrol from a tour bus in the middle of the night. Unfortunately for them, they were unsuccessful. According to a report in a British publication called the Daily Mail, our group of swindlers looked to have everything under control right up until the point where things started to go horribly, horribly wrong.
They were successful in inserting the hose and initiating the sucking motion in order to extract the gas, but it was too late when they realized that the siphoning pipe had been placed in the incorrect location.
They started siphoning directly from the sewage tank rather than sucking gas from the bus when they started the process of stealing the gas.
You did indeed read that correctly.
According to the reports, Senior Sergeant Heath Soutar of the Laverton Police informed The West Australian:
We are able to deduce that they fled the scene as quickly as they could, presumably with a sour taste in their mouths.
Although no suspects have been apprehended as of yet, it is safe to assume that the punishment they received is one that they will not forget any time in the near future.
Do you get a kick out of it when karma gets its revenge on those who have earned it by kicking them where it hurts? Theft, in any form, has no place in society; thus, all we can do is hope that this warning, which has a bad taste in its mouth, will be enough to discourage those responsible for this crime in the future.
