‘I’ve always been an open book, but I couldn’t say anything before.
‘I’ve had health concerns for a long time, and it’s been hard for me to confront them and talk about them.
‘Recently, I was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, which affects 1 in 1 million people.
We’re still investigating this rare condition, but we know it’s causing my spasms.
Celine said the condition affects all aspect of her life, including her ability to walk and sing.
‘It pains me to tell you now that I can’t resume my European tour in February.
‘I have a great team of doctors and youngsters helping me get well.
‘I’m working hard with my sports drugs therapist every day to build again my power and my means to perform, but it’s been a battle.
‘Singing is all I know and all I like to do.
“I miss you.” I miss watching you perform.
‘I always give 100%, but my circumstances allows me to do so today.
‘To reach you again, I must concentrate on my health, and I think I’m on the mend.
‘I’m trying all I can to recover.
‘I appreciate your support on social media. I love this.

Celine initially hinted at her health problems in January when she canceled her North American Braveness tour dates.
Three months earlier, she had to abandon her Las Vegas residency due to the same health issue.

She left Caesars Palace in 2019 to perform at Resorts World on the Strip.
Celine has been treated for intense and persistent muscular spasms, according to her website. Her recovery is taking longer than she thought.
Her medical team is assessing the issue.
Celine said, ‘I was expecting to be OK by now, but I just need to be patient and follow my doctors’ orders.
Our shows need a lot of planning and preparation, therefore we must make decisions now that will affect plans in two months. I’ll be so pleased to be well again, and I can’t wait to return to the stage.’
