A 10-year-old cowboy’s dream is shattered when his hero pays him a surprise visit. As part of a school project, two little boys in Las Vegas shared their dream of becoming professional bull riders.
FOX5 heard about it and sent over the FOX5 Surprise Squad to the boys’ home to help make that dream come true. Young Jace Kellogg, and his brother Jett, dream one day of being professional bull riders. Still, they don’t like sports just for the adrenaline rush. These kids love to ride bulls because of their father, who was a professional bull rider himself.
Young Jace wrote a book report in which he said he wanted to grow up to be a bull rider like his late father. The boy still proudly wears his father’s cowboy hat. PBR jumped into action, teaming up with Fox Five News to surprise two young PBR fans.

FOX5’s surprise team heard about Jace and Jett and knew they had to do something special for the boys, so a reporter showed up at their house for a nice surprise interview.
The FOX5 Surprise Team and the PBR team delivered three famous bulls to their trailer home and the kids were blown away. They were petting the bulls when they saw someone get out of the truck behind them.
A man approaches and the boys realize that he is the famous bull rider, J.B. Mauney. The kids tell Mauney why they love sports and admire him as much as their father.
Mauney also gives the boys tickets to the PBR show where he was scheduled to appear. They got to go to the show that night and watch Jamie drive the bulls into the big arena! You could say it was a fantastic day for the two boys.
The boy’s grandparents are very supportive of their dream. Their grandmother said, “I believe God has a way of taking care of children. Their father looks down on them and is happy for them.”
